Welcome to IWNET 2022 !

After the necessary one-year delay due to the many restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, we are excited to announce IWNET 2022 as an in-person workshop!

All workshop events will take place on the campus of the University of Victoria in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. Please use the above links to get all the information you need, or write to us with your questions.

We are looking forward to seeing you in Victoria in July 2022!

In-person meeting/COVID-19

The workshop format aims to bring researchers in Nonequilibrium Thermodynamics together for presentations and—maybe more important after too long a time with online meetings—gives ample room for informal discussions during breaks, lunches, dinners, and in the evening.

Attendees are expected to follow federal and provincial public health orders, e.g., see UVic Info for Visitors and Travel Canada.

Abstract Submissions

While abstract submission deadline has passed, we are open to considering late abstracts; please send your one-page abstract to iwnet2022@uvic.ca.

For your submission, please use the abstract template (doc-file) that also includes detailed instructions about formatting.

Fees, Registration and Accommodation

The workshop fee of CAD 650 (late: CAD 750) covers coffee and lunch breaks, several dinner events and an afternoon outing. Registration will open soon. Accommodation is available on UVic campus at reduced group rates.

Special Issue

A special issue dedicated to the workshop will be published in the Journal of Non-Equilibrium Thermodynamics  (de Gruyter).

Authors of selected abstracts will be personally invited to contribute.
